From July 31 to August 5 the eighth Arenal Sound festival will be held in Burriana, Castellon. Are you going to miss it?
Arenal Sound is one of the iconic summer festivals in the Spanish panorama. Independent and fusion music rule during these concert-filled days, which gather over 150,000 festival fans, with an average attendance of 40,000 to 50,000 per day.
One of the greatest novelties this year is that the festival will have a new stage where you can stay up all night. Because it will be two, not one stage as in previous years, that will keep the music going until7:00 a. m. Plus the increase of leisure activities so nobody can dare be bored during these days.
The organizers of the AS pay attention to every detail. So they have a cloakroom area, with different sized lockers, Las well as a charging station for your cell phones. Furthermore, they frequently have contests, where they raffle, for example, one night on the Arenal Sound boat, or a trip on a private jet. Still thinking about it? Tickets are available on the festival web page and they offer different options, ranging from subscriptions, to VIP subscriptions to individual tickets for each day.
But let’s focus on the big deal: the groups. Bad Bunny, Dimitri Vegas &Like Mike, Crystal Fighters and Steve Aoki, are the great names of this edition.
Crystal Fighters, the English-Spanish band formed eleven long years ago will fill everything with its indie and electronic music with famous tracks like "Love is all I got". They are regarded as one of the groups with heaviest live performances, ensuring a good show
But the rest of the artists doesn´t fall behind, with names like James Blunt, Azealia Banks or The Vamps. The young Azealia Banks, from Harlem, New York, was one of the most popular artists in 2011. With her carefree attitude, this rapper, that keeps nothing inside, will make you shake your booty.
Inside the Spanish panorama que have well-known names such as Dorian, Rozalen, La Pegatina or La Raíz. There is music for every taste, so staying at home is not an option.
La Raíz plays at home. From Valencia, even though their eleven members have the most varied origins, will bring the night into the beat with their mix of reggae, ska, rock and rap.
